1. Change Your Pillowcase Often
Sleeping on a dirty pillowcase can make acne worse. Your pillow case collects oil, dirt, and bacteria from your face and hair. Try to wash your pillowcase at least once a week. If you have oily skin, change it every 2–3 days.
2. Always Wash Your Face After School or Sports
If your face gets oily or sweaty during the day wash it with a gentle face wash. Keeping your skin clean helps stop breakouts before they start. If you dont have any face wash gentle face wipes can help too.
3. Don’t Skip Moisturizer
Even if your skin is oily, you still need a moisturizer. When your skin gets too dry, it can make even more oil causing more acne.
4. Don’t Pop Your Pimples
We know it’s tempting and sometimes even satisfying. But popping pimples can make them worse. It can spread bacteria and cause scars.
5. Try to keep your hands and phone away from your face
Your hands and phone carry germs that can cause breakouts. Try not to touch your face during the day. And don’t forget to clean your phone screen often as it touches your face more than you think!
